Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients before starting to prepare this Better Than Sex Cake.

Baking the Cake

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch glass pan.
  • Combine cake mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl with a mixer until well blended, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then cut shallow slits across the top without cutting through the bottom.

Assembly & Chilling

  • While the cake cools, warm sweetened condensed milk and 6 ounces of caramel topping in a saucepan; pour over the cake, then sprinkle with most of the chopped chocolate toffee, reserving some for decoration.
  • Once the cake is completely cool, spread whipped topping over it, then decorate with the reserved toffee and any leftover caramel topping.
  • Refrigerate the cake until thoroughly chilled, then serve directly from the pan.

Notes

Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the cake when making slits. Remember to reserve some chopped toffee and caramel for a beautiful decoration.
